My friend's wife had her baby on New Years Eve :) I didn't even know she was pregnant, so when he IM'd me with, "Guess what? I'm a father." I was so shocked. But I'm soooo happy for him. He's going to be such a good father. They had a baby girl, and both her and her mom are healthy and safe :)

Things are going so well. Life is good. I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop.

I'm going to the Eid party Sunday night with Aisha. I'm super excited. Otherwise, I'm super stressed out over finals and money issues and mad at my parents about said money issues. Bah, I think I'm going to have to sell a kidney or something.

Can I just say, again, that I realllly don't like Christmas? I like getting presents, but I could definitely do without it. I hate being forced to celebrate it.

But anywayyyyy, I found these pics on BBC from hajj this year, and it looks so beautiful.

Scarves galore, I suppose

I should start posting here more. But it's boring. Not much going on. However, today I did get awesome stuff in the mail. I got my credit card (it's pretty), a check for $99.96 (I love it when they give away money like that), and the scarves I ordered. Unfortunately, all the scarves but one suck. I must have a huge head, or something.

I suppose I have enough scarves to compensate :|

Oh, and the strangest thing happened. The other night my checking account was at fifteen (lol I'm broke). I went to check something on it today, and, it made a ten dollar deduction for my fantastic curry dinner, but it now says my balance is SIXTEEN dollars. Huh?

I haven't posted in forever. Work sucks, I never go to class, I'm going crazy. Nothing new.

My best friend contacted me for the first time in 2 or 3 months. What a bitch. I'm really good at that letting people walk all over me thing, though, so of course I'm going to let her back into my life.

reconnecting with friends

In 7th grade, this girl named Arvinder moved to my school. No one liked her because she smelled like curry and was from New Delhi. I asked her stupid stuff, and she told me how to say something in Punjabi, told me all Muslims kill Sikhs and are evil, and that everyone in India had the same last name (lol). But we were best friends till she had to move to Michigan because her parents were taking over the gas station her uncle owned. Way to live up to the stereotype, right?

I just got a friend invite from her on Facebook. I guess she found me, yay. She goes to the same school as me and still has the same God-awful unibrow ever.
